FLHTCU Work - 2005

Since we've had electrical issues, starting/charging
problems, clunks, bangs, raps and let's not forget all the oil bubbling at the cylinder bases, figured we might as well bring her to Sean and see what the hell is going on. Initially, I was going to just see if he could track down the elecrtical crap - the gauge hops when the blinkers are on - if they come on, the gauge drops 50% when the brakes are applied, radio, passing lamps, anything drops or hops the needle all over the map. Sean looked her over and called with the great news that we should probably look into some organ transplants, joint replacement and some good old rehab for the old broad. Her jugs were scored, pistons worn, rings shot, needed some valve work, the starter was cooked and needed some wiring replaced. As he went through her, Sean called, emailed, sent pics, gave me choices, made suggestions and was down right straight about everything. We ended up doing a new top end, punched out 20 over, 9:1 pistons, head work, starter, re-wiring.

You can contact Sean at Cyclone by email if you want to get some solid work done. Go to Cyclone Cycles through our Links page. Or click on the top link on the Tech Tips page.
