| Basement Reconstruction January 2007 |
| After some serious flooding, we finally decided it was time to rip apart the basement and start over. We found some not so nice problems in doing so, one of which being finding out the sill had completely rotted out in one section. After jacking up the house, the guys got that repaired successfully. Then it was on to ripping more of the basement out, bringing in steel plates to reinforce the main beam in the house so we could take down the lally columns, and framing the walls in. The next step will be electrical, insulation, sheet rock, floor tile, etc. More pics to come as we progress! Thanks to Kip, Kippy, Al, Jon, EJ, Rob, and Tye for all of their help thus far!!
